Finally got the call from the insurance company. The total loss valuation of the car was on the low side but decent. HOWEVER, since there were no witnesses to the accident, they are proposing a 50/50 liability on both parties. Damn!is there any possible way to sway this figure to my favor at this point? i tried arguing about the impact points of the vehicle, my perfect driving records, the fact that i was 3/4 already into the intersection, etc. but they shot down every argument i threw at them. i had pics, detailed written explanations, etc. but in the end, its still a he said/ she said argument... any advice would be great at this point. not sure if i should just accept and settle or fight. but i dunno what ammo i have to fight with. thanks...
